It is delicious, super healthy and vegan salad. It is made with fresh broccoli, mint, coriander and almonds.
It is perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In-fact you can have it any time.
This is a vegetarian broccoli salad in Indian style. Its ingredient is very common which are available in every house.
There are many versions of broccoli salad. You can try different recipes of broccoli salad.
Raw or Cooked Broccoli?
Broccoli salad can be made with raw or cooked broccoli. If you do not like the raw broccoli, you can steam it. I used steamed broccoli in this salad. But on the other hand, raw broccoli is used in many other broccoli salad recipes.
If you do not want to steam it, you can blanch it. Put the broccoli pieces in boiling water. Boil it for 1 minute. Remove it from water and transfer it to the ice water to stop the further cooking process. Drain the broccoli before using it.
But it is completely up to you. You can prepare your salad version and have it as you like it.

- Always use the fresh vegetables in it.
- Serve it fresh. Do not store it on fridge.

Broccoli Salad Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 broccoli
- 10 almonds badam
- coriander leaves
- mint
- ½ lemon juice
- 1 inch ginger finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ½ teaspoon crushed black pepper
- salt as per taste
Instructions
- soak almonds in water for few hours
- Steam the broccoli and almonds for 3 to 5 minutes
- Remove from steamer and place it in the bowl.
- Add coriander, mint leaves and ginger in it.
- Add olive oil, crushed black pepper, salt and lemon juice in it.
- Mix it
- Serve it hot.
